IEL access to SBCTC grants – which grants could the IEL get access to independent of SFCC? What do CCS and/or SBCTC need to do to accomplish? 3. Continuing Education background information. 4. Continuing Education - What are the issues? (see brainstorming summary) What are possible solutions? What do we find and what kinds of recommendations are we likely to recommend? Should the continuing ed. directors of the three units be invited to brief the task force and discuss the issues and possible solutions, or are the continuing education issues well known to the task force membership?

SFCC/IEL relationship issues: a. Instruction issues: curriculum, faculty, library and quality control. b. Student services issues: transcripts, financial aid, and other student services. 2. What are the needs and wishes of SCC related to the IEL? 3. Can/Should the IEL operate under an identical agreement (and processes) with both colleges? 4.What financial considerations should accompany any agreement between the IEL and colleges?
